| “I just wanted to say thank you so much! As a 34 year old woman I was horrified when I started to experience hair loss, and after searching for options on the Internet I came across your web site. I was concerned that the product may not work, but since there was a money-back guarantee I went ahead and bought the system, and I’m very glad I did. I’ve enclosed a money order for another system.” |

| “I decided to try ProFollica™ because it contained all natural ingredients and didn't have any nasty side effects. I'd tried another hair loss remedy before and had to stop because of the side effects. I'm now seeing my hair growing back in and I don't have any side effects.” |

| “Being a menopausal women in my 50’s I noticed I was starting to suffer from hair loss. As my hair started getting thinner I felt old and unattractive. I tried using hats and wigs to cover my hair and was very self-conscious. A dermatologist recommended Rogaine® which I used for several months with limited results. Then I heard about ProFollica™ and decided to give it a try. Within two months my hair loss stopped and now, five months later, my hair has thickened significantly. I would recommend your product to anyone who experiences hair loss.” |

WHAT ARE CAUSES OF HAIR LOSS?
OVER TIME THERE HAVE BEEN MANY THEORIES ON THE CAUSE OF HAIR LOSS. VIRTUALLY ALL HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO BE FALSE. IT IS NOW KNOWN THAT HAIR LOSS IS NOT CAUSED BY EXCESSIVE WEARING OF HATS, THINKING TOO MUCH, MENTAL PROBLEMS OR VITAMIN DEFICIENCY.
So what actually does cause you to lose your hair? |
| There are a number of causes of hair loss common to both men and women. Some common causes of hair loss are: |
Medical treatment |
Disease or illness |
Medications (side effects) |
Zinc deficiency |
Excess Vitamin A or E |
Mechanical damage to the hair |
| Mechanical damage is caused by harsh treatment of hair. Coloring, using curling irons, corn rows, perms, and bleaching can all lead to hair loss. Most of these causes of baldness are reversible, as is Male Pattern Baldness if done correctly. |
Who is affected by hair loss? |
Hair loss affects men and women although it affects both differently.
Men can start showing signs of hair loss as early as the onset of puberty. By age 35, 35% of males are experiencing some sort of hair loss. In their lifetime, 65% of all males suffer the effects of hair loss. The majority of males suffering from hair loss have what is called Male Pattern Baldness. Here the hairline recedes and there is a "dome" at the back of the head where hair loss also occurs. It eventually looks like a horseshoe shaped ring of hair surrounding a bald spot on the top of the head. Women may start to experience hair loss in their 30's. Their hair loss becomes notably more pronounced in their 50's, especially after menopause. Whereas men tend to have their hair loss concentrated at the top of their head, women tend to have an overall thinning of the hair.
